I found home...
Jerri

Dark Tortie Girl looking for love.
Original Homing Text:
I' like to introduce you to Jerri who is a stunning little dark Tortoiseshell cat who has found herself looking for a new home after her owners emigrated.
Jerri is a sweet, affectionate little lady who at 13 years of age is looking for somewhere to call home where laps and cuddles are available in abundance.
Although 13 years in age Jerri far from looks her age and she is in perfect health with many more years ahead of her.
Jerri loves nothing more than curling up on your knee for lots of cuddles and it doesn't take much encouragement to get her purr-engine started. Whilst this wonderful little cat has only been with us for a few short days she has already won us round with her fantastic, loving nature.
We would like to place Jerri in a quieter home with no young children. She is perfectly suited to older children and has been around dogs in the past so should adapt quite well.
Jerri has lived with other cats however does seem to settle better with female cats rather than males.
Jerri is a cat who would be ideally suited as a companion cat for either a single person or a couple as she has so much love to give the right person and her new family.

Jerri would be suited to either an indoor only home or an indoor / outdoor home where she could potter in the garden for short spells and return to the house for more cuddles and a cosy place to sleep.
Thank you for taking the time to read Jerri's profile.
Update 24/04/09: We are thrilled to report that Jerri has moved on from Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue and is now living in her new forever home where she will be spoilt rotten.
We received the following:
"After you guys left, Jerri eventually fell asleep for an hour or so. After that she was up on my lap getting stroked and purring away. She was a bit nervous again when Johanna came home. However, when I got back from work at 9.30 she was up on the sofa lying on her side getting stroked. "
The pictures below were taken the day after she arrived in her new home. Well done Jerri, you deserve it kiddo!

Update 11/05/09: We have received an update on Jerri's progress and it would appear that she has made herself very much at home and settled in wonderfully. Her new slaves write:
"She has become a lot more playful recently and I think she has truly settled in now. She runs around at 6am jumping on books etc that are lying around."
Jerri will no doubt continue her battle of wills with her new owners but by the sounds of things she has very much become part of the family. We are looking forward to future updates on this little star!
