The aim of Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue is to ease the suffering of abandoned and stray cats and kittens in and around Edinburgh and Fife. We are a small, family run cat rescue who dedicate our efforts to promoting good welfare practices for cats and to helping those cats and kittens in our care back to health, so that we may find them a new loving forever home.
We specialise in the hand rearing of infant and orphaned kittens and are always on hand to offer advice on any aspects of cat care to the public through our Cat Care Advice Line.
We cannot create a better world for the cats of tomorrow if we do not seek to educate those around us of the wonders and responsibilities of caring for a cat as part of your family unit.
Please note that our website is updated daily where possible but due to lack of resources our website is not always as up to date as we would like. If you are looking to adopt the best thing to do is submit our adoption application form. Full details can be found here.

Can You Help Us?
 We are always in need of items such as bedding and cat food to help towards the high care costs of the cats at Sunny Harbour Cat & Kitten Rescue.
One other way to help us is to use the advertising banners on our site when shopping for your best friend. Each time you shop with one of our advertising partners Sunny Harbour will receive a small donation. You can also raise funds for Sunny Harbour via our easyfundraising page just by using our links to over 600+ retailers online including Ebay!!
Are you having a clear out???
We are on the look out for much needed bric a brac (excluding clothes) that we can use to raise funds for the cats at the rescue. Items such as ornaments, small furnishings, DVD's, Games for PS2 / XBox, childrens toys, etc would all very much be appreciated. Items can either be dropped off at the rescue or alternatively we can arrange pick ups for larger collections of items.
